Coletyn is officially a legal hunter!!! He received his certificate from Hunter's Safety last night, along with his good friend Lucas. We are so proud of them!A Story With a Bit of Irony:
Last Saturday Coletyn took his Field Day Test & that evening after he went to bed, we received a call from one of our neighbors explaining they had just hit a small deer. So, Troy got Coletyn out of bed & they went to where the deer had been hit and Coletyn was able to help gut his first deer & they brought it home & cut it up & brought it to a local meat locker to be made into sausage. So, even though Coletyn didn't "hunt" the deer, it was funny that the day he passed his field test he was able to gut & cut up a deer;-)!
