Sweet 16!!!

"Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them."

Ecclesiastes 12:1

Our "Sweet Pea" is "Sweet 16" & we are SO thankful for her..... it is such a joy for us to watch her turn into a young lady. Our prayer for her is that she will continue to desire to draw closer to the Lord & have a heart to serve Him all of her life.

I asked the boys what their favorite things were about their beloved sister & this is what they had to say:

Levi: "I love her because she is fun & she snuggles me."

Lucas: "She is the best sister & is happy most of the time & she is lots of fun!"

Trey: "She is loving & a good comforter & I love her."

Coletyn: "I love playing sports with her. She is very caring & my best friend."

Above are pics from her birthday sleepover. We went to the park & played VB & Ultimate Frisbee(which was a sacrifice for some of her friends, knowing how much she loves sports...they all played ALL evening with their whole hearts & with smiles on their faces:-)) & then we went to Sweet P.'s Ice Cream for some homemade ice cream & then walked down to a spot overlooking the river to chat. She is incredibly blessed with a wonderful group of friends....they share so many wonderful memories & this is just one small one:-)! I remember praying for the Lord to give her a good friend to share memories with, & He not only gave her one, but several! He has richly blessed her life & ours.
